Paul W. DeClark

Paul W. DeClark is a seasoned firearms instructor with more than 30 years of experience.

Mr. DeClark is a 33-year seasoned NRA Certified Firearms Instructor. He holds eight NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION civilian Instructor Certifications including: Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Home Firearms Safety, Personal Protection (in the Home), Refuse to Be a Victim, and Muzzleloading (Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun). He is also a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer.

Mr. DeClark is also an NRA Certified Law Enforcement Handgun / Shotgun Instructor.

Mr. DeClark is a UNITED STATES CONCEALED CARRY ASSOCIATION Certified Firearms Instructor and certified to teach seven classes in the categories of Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals and Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals, and First Aid. He is also a USCCA Certified Range Safety Officer.

Mr. DeClark is an Active Member of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT FIREARMS INSTRUCTORS.

Mr. DeClark is a member of the INTERNATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT EDUCATORS AND TRAINERS ASSOCIATION. 

Mr. DeClark is a 2^nd Degree Black Belt and Life Member of the United States HapKiDo Federation, and incorporates his 30 years of martial arts experience into his firearms training curriculum.

Mr. DeClark is also a former police officer and a staunch supporter of 2^nd Amendment rights, and is a Patron Life Member of the National Rifle Association as well as a number of other firearms owners’ associations.

Mr. DeClark is s a Certified AVERT (Active Violence Emergency Response Training) Instructor, which includes traumatic blood loss,  and is Certified to teach Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED and Adult First Aid, through the HSI Health & Safety Institute.

Mr. DeClark holds Florida’s Security Officer “D” License, the Statewide Firearm (Armed Security)”G” License,  the Security Agency Manager’s “MB” License, the Security Instructor “DI” License and the  Firearms Instructor “K” License.

Mr. DeClark is a security consultant, helping churches establish their own armed security teams.

Mr. DeClark is a Certified Safety Member, Sheepdog Church Security Academy.

Mr. DeClark is available for public speaking engagements for topics such as: Refuse to Be a Victim; Surviving an Active Shooter Event; Senior Self-Defense; and related topics customized to your needs.
