By popular request we have scheduled a great series of classes on guns and gun safety!
On Jan. 2, 2016, from Noon – 2:00 we will have a family gun safety class. $10 gets the whole family in. We will demonstrate how to “make safe” handguns and show different types of guns. Deadline for enrollment is Wed., Dec. 30.
On the following Sat., Jan. 9, we are offering a small caliber rifle class for 13 yrs. of age and up (parent must attend with minor child.) Starting at Noon, we will have a one hour classroom orientation and then drive to Pt. Charlotte for live range fire. $40 per child includes use of rifle, ammo, ear and eye protective gear, range fees, and course handouts including the Basics of Rifle Shooting book published by the NRA. Deadline for enrollment is Sat., Jan. 2.
On The following Sat., Jan. 16, Noon – 3:00, we have our regularly scheduled Concealed Weapon License course. The usual cost is $125, with an earlybird discount of $25 given with pre-payment. Those who have attended either of the above courses will receive a further 10% discount with pre-payment. This 3 hr. class is followed by live range training to be scheduled by mutual availability. It is not necessary to own a gun. The only additional cost is one box of ammo, which we can supply for $20.
