Even if Open Carry passes in FL, you WILL still need your Concealed Weapon License to carry — open or concealed. This is contrary to what one misinformed dealer is saying in their radio spot.
Our next public class in Venice is Sat. Feb. 20. We conduct the most comprehensive class in the area, and we teach people how to shoot! Experienced or not, our extensive live range training will instill confidence in your ability to defend yourself with a firearm.
We provide a three hour classroom experience which covers how to unload and handle any handgun safely, how to purchase the right ammo, all the laws, range etiquette, self-defense scenarios, safe home gun storage, holsters and much more.
Once completed, we schedule a range time where we can spend about 45 min. teaching you the fundamentals of sight and bench shooting as well as instinctive self-defense shooting.
This whole experience costs $100 with registration. ($125 at the door) You will bring your gun if you have one and one box of ammo, or can sell you a box. If you need to borrow a gun I will let you shoot several of mine and charge you $20 for ammo. After the live range training you will receive a Certificate that will enable you to apply with the State for your CWL.
Don’t be fooled by cheap classes at gunshows and the like. You will learn nothing there. To be blunt, I have never had a student I could not help shoot better.
